In February PIR held a volunteer workday that was a big success. Rather than holding a single workday, they are this time looking to have smaller groups of volunteers pitch in over a more extended period of time assisting our PIR maintenance team members.

Please take a look at the work plans & options below and if you have some time to devote, please email pir@portlandoregon.gov and let us know. And if you have a newsletter and/or meetings with a user group, please feel free to include this information with your communications. RSVPs are needed by end of day the Thursday previous to each work weekend. Thank you!

May 30 & 31 9:30 a.m. start (3 hour minimum Five people)
- Paint picnic tables for Beaches Cruise In
- Scrape guardrails for paint prep
- If rains Spread Mulch and assorted other small tasks

June 6 & 7 9:30 a.m. start (3 hour minimum Five people)
- Weeding throughout the property
- Pending weather prep and paint furniture
- Spread Mulch and assorted other small tasks

June 20, 21 9:30 a.m. start (3 hour minimum Five people) NOTE: 21st is Fathers Day
- Guardrail prep for paint and weeding/ground maintenance throughout the property

Any help that can be provided is always appreciated but it would be great to have some cyclists out there to show our commitment. I know that we don't have a large impact on the facility as some other users do but it's always nice to show that we are invested in PIR and what it provides us.
