The direction of the course this year was fantastic. All those flowy
mini-canyons were a ton of fun to rip down.
Great work shayne/stephanie!

Question will the finishing times be posted anywhere?

Saturday was perfect... Sunday would've been another story... We dodged a
bullet.

I voted yes and would do so again. Such a good course thus year. Temps
were fine.

Just a reminder,
We've debated this subject at great length before - people vote with
their participation on whether or not they wish to start their racing
season while it is still winter.

Early season races always risk bad weather and the attendance numbers
make clear the people's preferences on the matter.

For those of you who missed Echo because of the forecasted weather, or because it wasn't part of the Series: it was a blast as usual! It was a little cold in the morning, but by race time the sun was peeking through, and it was comfortable with a jacket. We only got a few snowflakes the whole day (the worst weather we saw was freezing rain coming back through the Gorge).
The course was great fun as always, the trails were in perfect shape, with only a little mud down by the river.
The raffle and awards were fun also, with big food prizes for the clydes, and lots of swag to go around.
The only thing Echo was missing from other years was half its racers, the large number of OBRA people who skipped the first XC race of the season.
