CLINICS:
Introduction to Racing Clinics:
Never tried bicycle racing and always wanted to see what it was all about?
Want to learn about the basics and more? Come join us for a FREE quick and
concise clinic at 6:00 PM before the start of the Novice race every Monday
night this season at PIR. Clinics are organized using expert coaches and
instructors from Upper Echelon Fitness and Rehabilitation. We will cover
some group riding basic skills, assist with number pinning and walk you
through a typical race. If time permits, we will go into learning some new
tricks for saving energy, riding smoothly, and safely maneuvering in the
group. Coaches will be available after the Novice race to answer questions.

Let's Race Bikes - 1st Mondays Clinic (each month):
Let's Race Bikes is an initiative of like-minded racing women in Oregon who
want to ride and race bikes with you! We're a group of teams from all
around Oregon with women riders who would like to see more ladies out on
the road! Excited? Want to learn more? No problem, come out to the Monday
Night Bike Race Series at Portland International Raceway on the 1st Monday
of each month (May 5, June 2, July 7 and August 4) for a special Let's Race
Bikes night. We will run an introduction to racing FREE clinic starting at
5:45 PM and walk you through the basic steps to getting out onto the race
track! We will also have experienced racers, coaches and others to answer
any questions. This is a great opportunity to meet the Let's Race Bikes
community and learn more. We'll see you there!
