*Sunday May 4th* will be my annual unofficial, unsupported, non-USAC and
non-WADA sanctioned Twickenham ride and all are invited.

For those who have not been on this ride, it is an awesome, scenic 65 mile ride
with ~7,000 feet of climbing on good roads with minimal traffic that starts
and ends in Mitchell...see below for route map...

This ride is free, unmarked, unsupported and away from any services/stores
except for a market that is usually open in Service Creek so come prepared
with $$, food, drink, flat changing stuff, clothes for any condition and riding
partners...this is not a race but the route has some long (5-10 mile)
climbs which naturally breaks up the group...in the past we have regrouped
at the tops of climbs and in the store in Service Creek (bring $$) but
there is no set agenda...

Plan is to be on the road out of Bend by 8:30am and hopefully rolling out
of Mitchell on bikes by 10am...while it is not Paleo-approved, I will be at
Nancy Ps to pick-up an egg pocket at 8:15am...if others want to meet there
and organize a carpool, go for it...we usually park at the post office in
Mitchell...you will see it as you pull into town on the right...if you are
late and we have left, follow the map, work your TT skills and hope we
haven't reached the downhill into Twickenham yet...

We often stop for a very large meal at a Mexican restaurant in Prineville
on the way back...so bring even more $$...
