Always tough to tell, they apparently varied a LOT!! I tried to see if the rainbow sticker helped, but they won like 9 world champs so they must have carried the rainbow almost from the start.

Does anyone know how to accurately determine a 3Rensho frame model year? I
am going to sell it for a family member, he thinks it's an early 80's model
but I can't verify this. It's a purple Super Record Export (62cm;
horizontal dropouts). Model year is not, from what I can assess, in the
serial #.
