Don't worry- if he's riding like that he'll earn his OBRA champion
jersey in no time al all and probably a BAR award ... and Oregon Cup
leaders jersey... :P

I kicked his butt.

Kidding. Only kidding. Kudos as I was not sure he would finish. I know who
our next Cream Puff champ will be.

Holy crap. I saw jake at the beginning and while he was spinning great, I have to admit I thought he wouldn't make it up saltzman. My hat is off to him. Next root beer is in me.

The little Crusher!
I must say this would seem to deserve an OBRA champion jersey paid for by
OBRA, or I will buy the succor and get it to him some way. Jake Reiss is a
champion even if he does not get on his bike for a month....but I bet that
will not be the case.
Kenji, Get me info for a jersey for the kid and lets make it happen (if
rules can be bent enough for something like this.....I would hope this is
possible)!
Congrats to anyone who did this...it is probably as hard as any race on the
schedule.
And Mike Reiss. You deserve an award for providing a positive life for
Jake. It is so clear that even if he had a melt down during the ride...by
the time he was done, his attitude was back on track to keep moving on to
victory.
