Hello OBRA Members:

A few final thoughts prior to the race tomorrow:

1) If you were clever enough to pre-register, note that we still need you to check in on race day to verify your presence and that all is in order with your registration. Fear not, however, for as always, we have an Executive Check-In concierge to make this a fast and easy process. If you owe us an accident waiver, we will let you know so that you may provide it at check-in.
2) Numbers are on the left and back. Officials will require you to have both numbers.
3) Please help us retain this course for the future by respecting the local folks before, during and after the race. Remember, it is their community and ultimately it is the local community that decides to let us use their beautiful course for our race every year. The major good bike racer citizen requests are as follows;
a. Make use of the ample Kings Valley Commemorative Portapotties for your private time needs.
b. Dont trespass on the staging areas neighbors property, and
c. Keep the finish area road clear after you finish racing. Prize presentations will begin shortly after race finishes, thanks to the cleverness of your OBRA officiating crew, so make your way to the start area after you finish your race.
4) Observant readers of the OBRA ruleset will notice that the Kings Valley Road Race has a stricter centerline rule than is currently in effect for OBRA single day races in general. If you cross the centerline, the officials will disqualify you if they determine that your action merits disqualification.
5) For those racers interested in stirring things up right from the gun, we have our first lap beer prime with half cases of cold beer provided by Hop Valley Brewing on offer for the Pro I-II men, Cat III-V, Masters (both), and Women I-III fields. Note that the beer will not be a "hand up" on the line, i.e. you have to wait until the end of the race to collect your prize.

Kings Valley Race-day Forecast:

High: 55
Low: 40

Chance of Precipitation: 27.4%
