Remember the amazing racing and huge crowds for the Portland Twilight Criterium? Well we are bring it back. Different name but same great course and now in partnership with the Major League Soccer All Star Break and Volkswagen. Boasting one of the largest Criterium prize purses in the entire Northwest this is a must do event. Major League Soccer will be present and we are looking to have our local talent come out and show them what makes Portland such an amazing bike town! So whether you are lining up to race or coming down to grab a beer and a sweet corner to watch we hope to see you at the North Park Blocks on Sunday August 3rd.

Registration information
Registration is now available online at https://www.usacycling.org/register/2014-2795 You may also download and fill out the USA Cycling Standard Release form and register onsite up to 30 minutes prior to your race. Registration price is $30 for all categories except for the Pro 1-2 men which is $35. There is an extra $5 late fee for onsite registrations. Registration tent will be located at the corner of NW Davis and Park Avenue just east of the finish line. If you are an OBRA Member and not a current USA Cycling License holder and would like to race in any category but the Pro 1-2 men you can buy a temporary license online for $15 at www.usacycling.orgor onsite. You do NOT have to buy an annual. Although an annual license does give you the freedom to leave the state and race some amazing events across the country.

Rules
All Bikes MUST be USA Cycling approved and all applicable USA Cycling rules will apply. You must have a current USA Cycling license to race.
ALL USA CYCLING RULES APPLY AND PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO COMBINE OR CANCEL CATEGORIES WITH LESS THAN 20 RACERS REGISTERED IN ANY SINGLE EVENT. FOR FULL PRIZE PAYOUT CATEGORY MUST HAVE 50 RIDERS FOR FULL PAYOUT.
Race numbers will be distributed at packet pickup and rider sign in. You must wear your number on the left side of your body. Not wearing your number properly will result in not being scored.

Prize Distribution
All prize money will be mailed within 7 business days from the event. Those competitors winning more than $599 in prize money will be required to submit a W-9. Cash Primes will be awarded immediately following the race and can be picked up at rider sign in tent.

Kid���s Race
Volkswagen Kid���s race is open to kids 4-12 years of age. This event is free but all kids must sign in and get a number to participate. Kids can register online or on site at the rider registration tent at the corner of Davis and 8th. Kids race starts with the 4-6 year olds at 1:40. Parents please stage your kids on Everett between Park and 8th at 1:30.
