Keizer Rapids Cross - Twilight CX series next two Mondays!

Really fun single trackish course through the forest. I recommend it & I'm looking forward to next week. While not everyone is into 'summercross', I must say jumping off the dock into the river after the race was perfect.

It was a 50 minute drive from Portland. Traffic wasn't bad except in wilsonville - didn't last long. Go check it out next week!

Folks - our new team and sponsor, Half Penny Cycling (formerly BuyLocal Cycling) has a great pre-season Cyclocross venue happening the next two Mondays at Keizer Rapids Park in Keizer, just north of Salem so come on out and get your body lubricated for GPRT and Cross Crusades!
The course is a mix technical single track (think David Douglas, Psycho Cross), asphalt, grass and gravel, some rollers and short, punchy climbs, a trestle run up and barriers! There's a kiddie cross race and a snack bar to grab some dinner too if that suits your fancy. If you've never been to Keizer Rapids, be sure to check the link - it's a really cool spot and kid friendly - grass amphitheater, sand volleyball - check it out!
Thanks to all who came out tonight for this series debut! Hope to see a grip of you fine men and women out next week to give Alex Wentz, Ryan Garner and others some competition!
