This is what it is all about........a group (Rebound/Tireless Velo) of
people putting on a super fun/challenging race that benefits a group of
people (P'ear) working to help others. A race worthy of participation.
Look forward to this.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Zaaldercross vs. Zaandercross, FYI

The gang at Rebound/Tireless Velo has been getting a few questions as
crossers are starting to look over the upcoming cx schedule. For the past
several seasons we've been bringing you the Zaandercross race and have had a
ball doing it. This year, we will be bringing you Zaaldercross. No , its
not a typo, its a new venue at a beautiful private park called Alderbrook.
Due to some changes in the parks department and our ability to find this
wicked cool spot, we've opted to change the race and its name. However, the
spirit of the race will remain. We're dedicated to bringing you a well run,
fun but taxing race where all of your entries go towards improving the lives
of PDX's homeless young people. Its a great spot for the family to hang
while you get your cross on. This course is grassy, twisty, and has several
power sections and lots of little punchy climbs.

So put the date, Septmeber 20th in your calendar, for Zaaldercross. Once
again, we will be part of the GP series of races and also part of JCS
junior's series. Also, your finish here will be part of the tally in
gaining that crucial Alpenrose call up spot. Check out our race site at
zaaldercross.com or look for our event page on Facebook. More info on the
series at cyclocross.gp .
