Offering my beloved Salsa Casseroll up to anyone in OBRA who (a) lives somewhere a lot flatter than I do or at least has younger knees and (b) understands why this bike is a cult classic for Portland. Salsa calls it a 49 cm, but I am 5'8", and generally ride 52cm bikes and it fits me perfectly. Could go up or down a few inches either way. Check the geometry yourself: http://salsacycles.com/bikes/archive/casseroll_single. Note the very low bottom bracket which effectively lengthens the head tube (and makes for a very stable bike). Also note the completely awesome painted-to-match chain guard (top picture of the web page). With the long-reach calipers and full fenders, this makes it the perfect winter fixed gear and general commuting machine. No chain oil-infused rain spray coming up to soak your left shoe and leg. Salsa did its usual homework - it also has a pump peg, polished semi-horizontal dropouts for perfect tensioning without paint chipping, and a rear derailleur hanger
to make it geared if you wish.

The bike is in excellent condition.

Differences/additions from original spec:
Deda Newton anatomic bars, 42 cm (willing to switch out for some PRO PLT compacts, and will throw in some bar tape)
Planet Bike cascadia fenders - the long ones with the built-in flaps.
Ritchey WCS 100mm stem.
Rear rack - black, nice, can't remember the make/model offhand but takes panniers just fine.
I may have switched the rear fixed cog from an 18t to a 19t. I will have to check. It's a do-all gear ratio.
Saddle is an almost-new Concor Light.

$500. This goes to the CycloSportif Waffles camper trailer fund - how awesome would that be? Please help make it happen and get an awesome bike!
