Mother Nature tried to bring us a little bit of mud but alas, we'll just have to settle for a beautiful day for racing tomorrow. Could be warm but its usually a little cooler there than in the city. The touch of moisture helped buff out the course a little bit and we'll be ready for you to come slay the newest addition to the cross calendar. Here's a little bit of last minute info:
-Registration: Pre-reg closes at 5pm today. Day of reg. opens at 8am . Bring your OBRA license and your cx numbers!

-Parking- Lots of parking but please park efficiently so every one can fit easily. From the parking area , simply walk up towards the offices and out to the course. If you have a lot to drop off you may go to the main circle at the office to unload but do not park there.

-The Venue- Alderbrook is a privately owned park and has been very gracious in hosting our event. Please be a good citizen and help us keep it. Honestly, you're gonna like this place. Also, there are a couple of private residences on site. Please be courteous of their privacy and property.

-The course- Fun, fast, hard, mild to mod hilly. Its got a little of everything to test you and yes even a small sand pit! Check it out at:https://zaaldercross.squarespace.com/the-course/

-Team Tents- Lots of room for tents on the grass in the main bowl. You can drop them off at the circle or if you are early we may have the secondary gate open at the east end for a shorter haul.

- Refreshments- Food, beer, and other snacks and drinks will be available on site.

-Sellwood Cycles will be doing their usual terrific job of neutral support!

- Petting Zoo! oh and a maze, and pirate ship for the kids to explore.

-Raffle- Don't forget to buy some tickets($5-) to win any one of some pretty sweet prizes from SRAM, Speedvagen, Chris King, Donkey Label, ....on & on. We'll also have some free give aways from SRAM & Donkey Label!

-Prizes: $50 cash to the elite winners(sorry, its a charity event) as well as a cool Z3 tshirt, and bogs gift cards for them and other category winners. We will have Commons beer for runner ups.

-Points: GPRT series points are on the line here as well as points towards the much coveted Alpenrose Callup.

-T-shirts: will be available for $20. They are sweet and all proceeds, as with the raffle and race, go towards advancing the lives of our homeless youths through p:ear

Thanks, we really hope to see you out there tomorrow. Sorry for the long post. The rest of the details can be found at zaaldercross.com or you can contact me if need be at gorits@pacifier.com or 360-931-3589
