I know that Tumalo State Park is a popular place to camp for visiting
bicyclists so please note that it will NOT be available for an extended
period beginning next week due to construction.

Campground closure: Due to a construction project the campground will be
closed from Sept. 29, 2014, through June, 2015. The day use area will
remain open during construction. If the project is completed early,
facilities available for those dates in May and June will become
reservable starting April 15; please call our reservation office on
April 15 at 1-800-452-5687 for an updated reservation schedule. The
construction project includes replacing original restrooms in B & C
loops with new restroom/shower buildings.
