Cross Crusade + Sage Cycles + Pixie Project = FRAME RAFFLE FOR GREAT CAUSE!!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Well, CX season is upon us and in full swing. By now most of us have ridden
hard, crashed hard, and partied even harder. Some have won, but no one has
lost because we are all winners when we are out on course. As most of you
know, Sage Cycles has been a sponsor of the Cross Crusade for the past 2
years and has given away 2 frames a year to the winner's of 2 specific
categories. The only drawback to this method was that it ultimately limited
who could win a frame. As such, I felt like a change was needed so that more
people could get involved, and out of this idea a raffle was born.

For the 2014 Cross Crusade season, Sage Cycles will be raffling off one of
our new Made In USA titanium Cyclocross frames to 1 lucky winner.

The catch? Raffle tickets will be $5 each.

The really cool part? 100% of the proceeds of the raffle will go to the
Pixie Project in Portland. For those of you who do not know, the Pixie
Project is a non-profit animal adoption center that focuses on bringing
together happy, healthy, adoptable animals and loving, forever homes. The
low cost Pixie Care Clinic offers low income and homeless pet owners access
to veterinary care, as well as spay and neuter services for their pets.

Most of you who know me, know my dog Kona. He and my wife Nara are at most
races. Dogs (and cats) are very important to us and the ability to help some
of them find their forever homes is something we both thought would be a
great way to give back. I know there are a lot of animal lovers within the
OBRA community, so I hope that when you are at the Crusade races this year,
you will swing by either the Sage tent or the Crusade tent and pick up a
raffle ticket or 2 or 4 or 8 or something like that.

If we can reach a goal of $2500, Sage Cycles will kick in another $500 to
bring the total to $3000 for donation. Here is a link to the Pixie Project
website if you want to learn some more: http://www.pixieproject.org/

The Sage tent will be setup at Alpenrose this weekend showing off the new
2014 PDXCX bike, as well as the new 2015 Skyline road bike. Stop by and
check them out. Did I mention all of our bikes are now made in the USA? Just
checking..

Looking forward to seeing everyone this coming weekend and in the weeks
ahead.

Sincerely,

Dave
