Sage Cycles + Pixie Project + Cross Crusade Update- Race #3

Hi Everyone,

What a fantastic weekend! Huge crowds, great racing, AMAZING conditions,
blue skies, and BEER!!!! From the vantage point of the Sage tent, we got a
great view of the action as riders ran, jumped, stumbled and flailed over
the mini barriers on Sunday. As a result, it made for a very interesting day
to say the least. Since so many people were coming over to check out the
barriers, we had quite a few people stop by the booth and take a look at the
CX bikes as well as the 2015 road bike. Reactions to the bikes are super
positive and there is definitely a buzz going on with what we have coming
out very soon.

As for the Pixie Project, all I can say is THANK YOU to everyone who has
bought raffle tickets so far! For races #1 and #2 at Alpenrose, we raised
$520 for the weekend. Not a bad start. At the PIR Heron Lakes race, we
raised another $315! That brings our 3 race total to $835! The money is
immediately donated to the project in the days after the race and the folks
over at Pixie are very grateful for what we are all doing to help them.
Based on our current average of $278.33 per race, we would hit $2226.67 for
the Crusade series if we maintain the current pace. That is AWESOME!!!!
However, as I have said in the past, I will donate $500 additional if we can
hit $2500 for the series. We are so close as we would need to average $333
per race for the remaining 5 races to hit the target goal. I know we can do
it, so please, if you have not picked up a raffle ticket yet, please come
over to the Sage tent this weekend and pickup 1, 2, 3, or even 4 raffle
tickets as it all goes to a great cause.

. Raffle tickets are $5 per ticket.

. The winner of the drawing will be announced at the end of season
Cross Crusade party.

. The winner does not need to be present to win.

. The winner gets their choice of either a 2014 CX frame or a 2015
road frame in their size.

Looks like this weekend's course will be a greasy/ muddy affair once again
which means it is going to be FUN!!!!! I look forward to seeing everyone
there and swing by the Sage tent for your raffle tickets. It only takes 1
ticket to win, and you can't win if you don't get a ticket.

Sincerely,

Dave
