Sage Cycles + Pixie Project + Cross Crusade- FINAL RACE OF THE SERIES

David Rosen

2014-11-13

Hi Everyone,

It is extremely cold outside right now and thick/ warm sweatpants have never
felt so good.. That being said, it is time to talk about some serious
matters for this week and next: The final Cross Crusade race of 2014 and the
Crusade Awards party and how they both tie back into the Pixie Project
raffle!

. Cross Crusade Race #8- Barton Park (A.K.A- THE GRAVEL PIT!): We
all know and love the gravel pit, and for those that have not raced it
before, you will fall in love with it very quickly too. Choose your tires
carefully and double check that air pressure because there are going to be
rocks on this course for sure and they can take out a tire very quickly if
you hit one of them wrong. The Sage tent will be setup in the Expo area near
registration for this race and the raffle tickets for the Sage frame will be
available there all day. If you need some emergency technical assistance, we
will have some limited tech support we can provide if you are in a pinch and
need some help.

. Cross Crusade Awards Party- (A.K.A- THE BIG NIGHT!): Since we know
that the Cross Crusades award party is not something to be missed, we have
decided to extend the raffle drawing into the night of the party. The party
is scheduled for 6-9pm at the Lumberyard. Thus, if you want one last chance
to get in on the raffle, then you will be able to purchase tickets for the
raffle from 6pm until we do the drawing around 8:30pm. I will most likely be
setup near the entrance to the party so it will be easy to find me and get
your last chance tickets. The drawing will happen towards the end of the
evening.

And finally, a few key points to remember:

1. Raffle tickets are $5 each. You can enter as many times as you
like.

2. 100% of the proceeds go to the Pixie Project of Portland. The Pixie
Project finds forever homes for dogs and cats that need loving homes. The
Pixie Project also provides low cost medical care for animals of homeless or
low income individuals who need help. More details can be found here:
www.pixieproject.org

3. The winner of the raffle gets their choice of either a PDXCX
Cyclocross frame or a Skyline Road frame.

4. You do not have to be present to win the raffle at the party, but
it would be nice if you were there.

5. When filling out a raffle ticket, please put your name, email, and
a contact phone number. PLEASE MAKE IT LEGIBLE!!!!

I look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday and getting some good racing in.
The weather forecast looks dry, but cold so dress warmly.

Sincerely,

Dave Rosen
