Cross Racers,

We have details finally fully released on the Waves for Water Cyclocross
Collaboration on December 6th & 7th in Tacoma, WA. These races are the
rebirth of the Deschutes Brewery Cup that was to happen in Bend, OR on
that same weekend.

This two-day event will create opportunities for UCI and Pro Cyclo-cross
Calendar (Pro CX) points to be scored by elite men and women, which are
crucial for national championships qualification spots. These races will
also provide rankings points for masters and juniors riders who wish to
compete at the 2015 USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Championships in
Austin, Texas, Jan. 7-11.

For the Elite Men and Elite Women both events will be run according to
2014 UCI regulations. The 2014 UCI scale of penalties applies. A 2014
international racing license is required to enter these events.

All other events are under USA Cycling (USAC) Permit #2014-2792. 2014
USAC regulations and penalties apply.

racing cross that havent renewed in a while or have never been a USA
Cycling member you will be able to race the rest of the 2014 and 2015
for cost of next year's membership.

Donations to Waves For Water:

In addition to providing two days of cross action, each race day will
focus on bringing financial support to two Waves For Water projects:
Project Liberia and Project Nepal. The funds raised to positively impact
these two nations will be a direct reflection of the financial
participation from our cyclocross community. We ask that all
participants invest in this weekend three times: twice for race entry
and once to Waves For Water. Additionally, we seek support from all
cycling enthusiasts who are watching the event from afar to please
consider giving remotely.

Donations to Waves for Water can be made to Project Liberia and Project
Nepal.
