I hope people can MAKE the time to support these because it will be
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO positive for natural surface riding in the Metro area.
We may actually make that actual jump proposed by an OBRA and NWTA member to
be able to "Ride to where we Ride". No gas guzzler needed!
It would change our lives.

Thanks to Jonathan for continuing to cover this event:

This one is important you guys - it's going to be an example case for the
city to take note on. Because we'll be negotiating with Metro not Portland,
we're actually going to pull this one off. I've ridden through some of these
parcels - just think of them where the Wildwood ends, this stuff would
begin. Right there. We'd just a more direct route through outer Forest Park
beyond germantown and you could ride on dirt all the way there.

Here is the facebook event to invite all your bike friends to: (and please
do so!)

Thanks, Ryan

PS. And while I'm hitting you with links, here's the NWTA petition again:
http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/portland-city-council-3.fb50

currently at 951 signatures in 2 days.

Help out:
