...member of OBRA, there have been a number of times when I have been moved by the caring of this organization.
Tonight was one of those times.
The number of OBRA members attending the open house regarding the North Tualatin Mountains lands Metro is working to preserve and open to recreation was impressive to say the least. So many bike riders in such a small space showing such good behavior makes me proud to be in OBRA.

Honestly I think this type of head count is what it will take to solidify the FACT that sustainable riding trails close in are NEEDED for the population. People in attendance exhibited the fact that we care about conserving the area as well as having recreational access. That is huge.
We may need to reinforce this at the last two meetings, but I believe we can carry this through and actually see trails we can ride to right out of our homes.
I am not an official in NWTA, just a member... but have to say “THANK YOU OBRA” for stepping up and being heard.
Lets vote with our presence again the next time and make riding trails be an integral part of these new areas, not a footnote.
