Last night at the NWTA meeting I learned that Erik Schultz passed away recently. I do not know details, but understand it was cardiac related. There is to be a memorial ride on March 7th beginning at the Syncline Parking area (not sure of the time).
I just know I always remembered watching him ride at his limit, giving all he could to what he seemed to love. He was one of the A riders who inspired me.
If anyone can provide more information for those who might like to do the ride, or info on the actual cause of his demise, that might help people process the loss of one of our members. Passing on memories of those we know and have known are a crucial way to let their life impact those still here. Please do this for Erik.
