Hi there,
I'm trying to find a room for rent for myself and my cat.

She's a small, 3 year old cat, always indoors so I've never had any problems with her not using her litter box. She's lived with both dogs and other cats her entire life, not the same ones either, she's had to meet new animals and make friends; she's not much of a fighter, but she will hiss and bat to get her space. I can send you some pictures if you want to see what she looks like.

I'm a student at PSU studying biomedical physics and math, I have 3 classes to finish and a thesis to write. I'm assisting with an experimental physics lab next term, my project for the class is to build and run tests on an electron beam focusing lens (solenoid) for a tunneling electron microscope I helped build last year. My other lab work is in an environmental science lab that looks at gas exchange to quantify nitrogen usage in soils. My thesis is research on the bioswales that are being built around town (that funny drain with weird grasses in it, between the road and the sidewalk), I'm going to quantify the heavy metals and toxic hydrocarbons they filter out of the road runoff. I race for the collegiate club team, race weekends just started, and I do a lot of the OBRA races around town; I'm anticipating a great Baker's City Classic this year. I'm a quiet roommate, I tend cook food and read a lot instead of go out and party. My room is not the cleanest place, but I am chore orien
ted and do dishes frequently which goes hand in hand with the cooking thing (I worked as a chef from when I was 16 until recently). I grow indoor plants and if you have space for it, I'l probably garden over the summer.

I'm looking for rent <$600 a month (though any good spot or roommate combination may warrant more money), I don't care what part of town it's in I can bike to get anywhere I need to be. I've lived with all female roommates in the past and it was a fine thing. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
