Online registration for the big weekend of racing closes in 48 hours. If
you are doing the Time Trail at the Ridge on Sunday you need to
pre-register so we can build the start list. Below quick likes to both

Below is more detail about each event.
South Sound Velo's big weekend of racing is this coming Saturday and Sunday
are you are invited to join us. Riders are traveling from Washington,
Oregon, British Columbia, Idaho, and Montana. Online registration is
highly recommended. If you plan racing at the Time Trail on Sunday at the
Ridge you must register online. All of the events details, registration
links, and event website for the weekend are below.
*Independence Valley Road Race*
South Sound Velo and Team Group Health are teaming up again to present the
most anticipated race of the season. It’s the race that will test your
winter training miles and your racing strategy and tactics. This is a
Washington spring classic and there could be rain, sleet, clouds, showers,
and a chance of clouds, or sunshine that will give you the first tan lines
of the season. There will be a tons of prizes and cash given away and
podiums to celebrate the trials and tribulations.
*The Ridge Circuit Race and Time Trial*
The Ridge Motorsports Park is a new facility in Shelton WA with 2.5 road
course that reveals Laguna Saco, Pacific Raceways, and Portland
International Raceway. This park is so popular in the Motorsports
community that they have already booked 150 track days in 2015. The
pavement at this facility is butter, super smooth, and fast. The course
features a long straightway section, some rolling terrain, and plenty of
turns. You will also be able to use the entire road surface around the
course. At 40 feet wide there is plenty of room to move around to attack
and carve corners.
Time Trail Details
Bikes –It’s a race against the clock with no bike restrictions so bring
your best aero setup at TT bike
Registration – Online registration only, close Friday March 27th at 7pm
Start Time – First rider off at approximately 9am
Category Start Order – Master categories followed by standard categories
Start Order – Based on time of registration. Those that sign up early will
be assigned a latter start time in their respective category
Circuit Race Details
Bikes – Mass start bikes only
Registration – Online registration and day of registration
The Ridge Registration Fees
One race = $35 (TT or Circuit Race)
Two races = 45 (TT & Circuit Race or two TTs, or Two Circuit Races)
Three races - $55 (Two TTs and one Circuit Race or One TT and Two Circuit
Races)
