OBRA Friends,

I want to thank everyone that approached me at PIR the past couple days
to inquire about Alistair's recovery. The OBRA community has really
stepped up for Alistair this past week and its been truly inspiring.
In case you missed it he gave an interview that aired on KOIN 6 today:

Things are really coming together for the Bike Swap Meet on Sunday.
Lots of cool donated items, food and coffee vendors and even a possible
celebrity sighting. There is still lots of room for sellers to reserve
space. Clean out your garage, sell off those old bikes & cycling
related items, you might even make a few bucks to buy yourself some new
bike bling or pay for a few race entries! Invite your friends and come
on out.

A little about the Bike Swap Meet for anyone that has never attended
one. A "swap meet" is simply a bunch of enthusiasts bonded by a common
theme bringing all their un-wanted/un-needed bits & parts to sell to
one another. A BIKE swap meet is simply focused on all things
cycling/cycling related such as complete bikes, wheels, tires, jerseys,
helmets, sunglasses, pedals, etc, etc. Typically a seller would reserve
a floor space or table and lay out their items for others to peruse.
Sometimes swap meets are the "holy grail" of amazing deals - but its
completely random, which is kind of what makes it fun. We all have WAY
too much stuff in closets and garages so this is a great opportunity to
clean house a bit and maybe find a few cool items at the same time.

One of Alistair best friends and training partners has organize a "slow
ride" for Sunday morning beginning at the 82nd Ave "Cartlandia" at 9am
and culminating at the O2 Endurance Training Ctr where we're hosting
the swap meet. The ride route will cover a Strava segment where the
KOM is held by the one and only ALISTAIR CORKETT ESQ!

The fundraiser is at 83% of our goal: www.gofundme.com/alistaircorkett

Hope to see you out there,
Bryant Howard
