Marys Peak Hill Climb and Why You Need to Experience This - June 20th

Adam Kennedy

2015-06-17

Hello OBRA,

The MPHCTT is a bike race. We track the record times, we incentivize the
fastest times on the day, we try to lure in top talent from across the
westher US. We literally hope that each year's fastest times are faster
than the previous year. We race bikes and that's what happens.

But this race is also just a bike ride. We incentivize participation. You
are not required to sweat out your eyeballs. We don't stop you from pausing
at each majestic vista on the way to the summit. We don't require you to
accelerate up each switchback. It's just a ride. If you've been riding your
bike, you can do this. We provide the venue once a year. We provide a gear
shuttle that will take your day's nutrition/change of clothes to the top.
We provide hydration, nutrition, and medical at the summit finish. We
designed a nice commemorative jersey that you can purchase and enjoy for
years to come. This is just a good way to spend a day on the bike.

Hope to see you all at the Marys Peak, this Saturday, June 20.

Sincelerly,

Adam and Team MPHCTT
