Just a reminder that Pickett’s Charge! XC Mountain Bike Race is this coming Sunday, June 28th. It’s the last race in the Mudslinger XC Oregon Series.

A few things:
Online registration will close at noon on Friday. There is no price increase until Saturday during packet pick-up at Sunnyside Sports. Register today! http://pickettschargebend.com/register/ The first 100 people registered receive socks for free, there’s about 20 free pair of socks left as of this morning
Packet pick-up and late registration is at Sunnyside Sports in Bend on Saturday, 6/27 between 2pm and 6pm. Sunnyside Sports is located at 930 NW Newport Avenue in Bend.
Race day is going to be really hot! Please plan ahead and bring your camelbacks and water bottles FULL. We will have water available, but not enough to fill 200 riders camelbacks. There is NO WATER SOURCE at Wanoga Sno Park so we ask that you bring water with you to the race
If you’re the ultimate procrastinator, you can register on race day at Wanoga Sno Park between 8am and 9am.
YES, there will be beer post-race - one free beer per rider, and then a beer trailer is set up for additional beers - proceeds benefit COTA, Central Oregon Trail Alliance…the group of volunteers that maintains and is continually adding and proving the trail system around Bend.
