Scappoose Access Alert

Hey Portland Metro area OBRA riders...
This fellow Dabby is putting his butt on the fire to lease this area. If
any of you have ridden out there and would like to continue, you might
consider helping him out. You know who you are. Come on and give it up
(the go fund me acct. below). Think about how much you pay for race entry
fees and gasoline to get there for two or three days of racing.
Put him over his amount so he can get this finalized and we can get to
riding. I would assume all the landowner wants is the money, insurance
coverage and people who are on board to enter to follow rules.
Of course there will be the high fire danger closures at times (one of the
rules) ...but we will not have to worry about hunters with the lease! Just
think about the great skill building you get on those wet roots in the fall
and winter. Great place for some gut wrenching off road intervals as well.
This may be a great new chapter of riding history for this unique area so
close to town. Lets show them we have the ability to be good stewards. Of
course have fun riding as well.
I am sure more info will come soon when lease if finalized.
