2015-07-05

Hello everyone and happy 4th of July weekend!!!

Even
with the heat, OBRA racing continues is top-flight form across the
state from Baker City to Ashland showing the amazing quality
of OBRA  Also as I finalize permit plans for OUCH, given several recent
events within our cycling community, the most recent near our Larch Mtn
route, please take just an extra moment to remember both your own and
the safety of our fellow cyclists.

In addition
to riding safe, you'll need to be strong because it's time to head
uphill for the 14th annual OUCH: Larch Mtn Uphill Time Trial on Sunday
July 12th and (depending on who you talk to) somewhere between the 33rd
and 99th OBRA Uphill Time Trial Championship at Mt Hood just a week later
on Sunday July 19th. Registration continues for both.
Special start times and accommodate ions for preregistered riders is available where we can.
The starting order within categories will be the reverse order of registration sign up
OBRA
categories are observed, scored, and supercede all others, but special
group scoring for personal challenges can be done as we have in the
past.
Also, as is tradition, day-of-registration is
available, but will start after the last preregistered rider so that
the starting list can be posted and finalized to help us get started on
time.
The fabled water bottles and medals return, but this
year, in limited number for 2015 so sign up quick or you might end up
with a prior year's version :)

The starting lists will be posted beginning on Tuesday
