New article in WW about North Tualatin Mtns. trail development.
As to be expected, the locals want these areas to be their private back yard, but Metro seems to be sticking to their guns about it being for all types of users in the region. Lets keep the faith and support Metro with positive feedback as this trail development progresses. Thanks to all who have stepped up for fairness......and lets never forget the pressure on the lovely City of Portland..........How do you have a smaller carbon footprint City? Answer.... You make sure your citizens have local options for all sorts of outdoor activities.........including off road cycling!
The more access to both safe on road and off road cycling in the Portland metro area, chances are the membership in OBRA increases. Lets make it easy for the young and old to ride bikes instead of allowing some politicos and self-serving private citizens to build walls to stop our choice of exercise in nature.
