As you may (should!) know, Oregon Walks is Oregon's advocacy organization for pedestrians. There's huge overlap with cycling: bikes and peds bear the brunt of unsafe infrastructure. In Portland last year more than half of all roadway deaths were pedestrians. Speed, alcohol, and driver inattention are the top causes of bike and ped tragedies.
