The Portland Velo cycling club is looking to hire someone for consultation, development and ongoing support related to our website and online communications.

Our current site is built in Joomla and has proven to be difficult to keep fresh with volunteer/amateur labor. We are open to all ideas, from re-skinning and updating the current site to migration to a new platform (Wordpress and Squarespace come to mind).

Our needs are relatively straightforward, but we do have a couple of complicating factors:
1. We maintain a membership database that is linked to paypal
2. We send email communications at least once per week to our paid, up-to-date members.
