Twilight CX DNFs?

Speaking from personal experience here... I think that some people forget that the early-season events are basically dust crits. You try to run too low pressure on that rutted farm road that's been baking rock-hard in the sun for 3 months and you're going to get a flat.

That, plus the usual shakedown factor...

We saw a lot of things happen: broken chain, broken handlebars, plenty of pinch flats (going over cattle crossings). Mostly, folks running too low a pressure for the course. Fun, fast course though.

Yeah, lot of flats. Something cut through my sidewall within the first few minutes of my race.
