A huge thank you to everybody who came out to race the Portland Trophy Cup this season. We had an amazing turnout and I think this year's races were 100x better than last year's. We couldn't have done it with out the staff and volunteers who were out every Tuesday at 8am and went home at 11pm. Seriously, it couldn't have been done without you. A big hearty thank you to my partner in all of this Will as well as Kevin who put in those long days to get those courses ready by race time.
Our awards party is happening on Friday October 16th at The Athletic from 6pm-9pm: http://www.theathleticcommunity.com/journal/2015/10/9/party-timez-at-the-athletic We'll have adult beverages for adults, soft beverages from Ross at Atlas Soda Works for kids and adults like me who don't do the booze as well as Olympia Provisions bringing their hot dog cart. We're celebrating the first anniversary of The Athletic as well so be sure to bring your party caps. Awards will happen around 7:30pm to make sure you all can get there from work with plenty of time.

Some of you even managed to upgrade halfway through the series and podium in two categories! Instead of you winning two sets of prizes though I think we'll be keeping yours until you upgrade all the way up.

We have prizes for the podiums in each category including beginners. Be sure to be at the party, if you're not I'll be likely to give your prizes away to a needy junior. We have two prizes that will be sure to get folks wound up. For everybody who raced the series you'll have a chance to win one of two power meters from Stages. The catch is that you will need to be present to win. No phoning it in. If we call your name and you're outside taking a smoke break, no dice. Also thanks to Stages I have prize money waiting for those riders in the As that podiumed last week.
We have some t-shirts left over in a few sizes and we'll have them for sale at the party.
