Calling all Athens to show up and support this category in both the Brad Ross GP series and Cross Crusades. The best part of racing this category is that we get to race in the morning so you have the rest of the day to cheer on your teammates, eat, drink rest or just relax. Here's the defination of an Athena per Greek Mythology. The goddess of wisdom, the practical arts, and warfare, and the protector of cities, especially Athens. Rumor has it that if we don't get more Athenas to race Cross Crusades this will be the last year for this CAT. Hope to see you at David Douglas! Kathy Hovermale, Deschutes Brewery Cyclocross Team.

Calling all Athenas! Want to race in the morning at 9:30 a.m. instead of waiting around to race in the afternoon? Then, please join me in the Athenas race. It's so much fun racing in the morning. For whatever reason, some ladies are just sensitive about people thinking they weigh enough to be an Athena (160 lbs); however, Andy will only ask the top 3 to step on his new scale (160 lbs of sandbags) so no one will know how much you weigh. He will just certify you as Crusada. Hope to see you at Cascade Locks. Kathy Hovermale/Boneyard Cycling
