I found families really appreciate the help with parking. It is an easy way
to give back to Alpenrose, who are giving not only to us bike racers, but
the kids coming to the festivities. Think how much fun it is to see a Pig,
Donkey and Santa all in one place...then score a candy cane!
Plus it might be the extra activity that helps them sleep "real good" that
night....helping mom and dad sleep "real good" that night!
Your help with parking is helping in ways.
Super easy way to help out and spread the workload.

I want to thank the people that showed up on short notice last weekend to
help with parking for Christmas in Dairyville. Having OBRA participation
in this event is noticed by the people Alpenrose Dairy who have been so
generous with supporting bike racing. Unfortunately we are still short on
people for the remaining sessions. This event is really cool. If you have
kids you have to make sure that you bring them. I am going to be taking
over scheduling from Brad for this. The dates and times that we currently
don't have anyone are listed below. Please let me know if you could cover
any of them. The job is not tough, just standing in the parking lot
keeping cars from getting tangled up. This is important not just for all
the people that race at the velodrome, Crusade and Blind Dates but also
for every bike racer as Alpenrose is essential for OBRA's operation as
they provide the storage for OBRA vehicles and equipment. All of us have
benefited.
