Congratulations and kudos to you for kick starting a HS Team/Club in Tualatin! You are not alone in your crusade, as our team here in Camas, "The Lacamas Freedom Riders Composite Team" is also involved with NICA as the 1st ever "Indie Club" representing NICA where there is not currently a Student Specific League, and we race the Oregon Off Road Road Series, and also are going to a NorCal Race. My hope is that your team, my team and other Junior specific clubs will bring more awareness and interest in forming a NICA or similar League specifically for HS and/or MS Students with the ultimate goal to establish Mountain Biking as a Interscholastic Sport here in the Northwest and Nationwide. NICA is on to something huge, for all of you out there, please help us on our mission!
