Just a quick reminder that we are one month away from Gran Fondo Kootenai, which is set to take place in the beautiful, remote northwest corner of Montana.  The event is slated for July 2 & 3, and preparations are well underway for the best edition yet:  we've added chip timing, our fantastic caterer has some great new meals planned, and we've been assured by the weather gods that we'll not have a repeat of the triple digit temperatures which added extra excitement to last year's ride.

If you've not already heard, Gran Fondo Kootenai is a two-day event which features blissful riding on spectacular scenic byways -- and virtually no cars!  Our first stage rolls continuously through tall forests and alongside beautiful waterways; the epic second stage boasts one of the toughest climbs in the Northwest, but also rewards with some of the most sublime descents.

Whether you want to challenge yourself (and/or your favorite riding pals), participate in our friendly international rivalry (those pesky Canadians keep signing up in droves), or simply enjoy one of the region's best cycling experiences, you will be warmly welcomed.  Let us roll out the red carpet for you up in the Kootenai.
