Well, my earlier email today mentioned my personal cash stolen from my purse and I thought it happened at PIR last night but......

The fact of the matter is the theft happened at my personal residence in the middle of the night and all the cash and checks written for Portland Short Track were stolen as well. I guess the thief figured that over $2k in cash was enough to grab and leave...

The police officer said anyone who wrote a check last night should contact their bank and tell them of the incident. The PPB Case #16-189816 can be used if you file a police report.

It is the an unreal situation and I'm still in shock. While my husband and I are sleeping someone sneaks into our home and steals from our garage!

Again, if anyone saw suspicious activity around the registration counter last night please let me know. The police officer said it could be someone who knows I had that kind of money after the race :(
