For those who haven't heard, about two weeks ago I had a fall and suffered
a significant chest and shoulder injury which required a hospital
admission and will require additional surgery this week. The reason why
I'm bringing this up is because there are a couple of upcoming events at
the Alpenrose velodrome that are dependent on my participation. I am
expecting that I will be able to attend but I will not be able to lift
anything with my right arm. In addition there are repairs that need to be
done to the track surface before these events, which I have been unable to
do due to the injury. Without help it will be difficult to pull these
races off.

The two races are the Alpenrose Six Day, June 27 through July 2, and the
Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge, July 8 through the 10th. If you could be
available to help with setup, take down or physical needs during the event
for either race or if you could help with repair of the track surface
