Can we start with the amazing photos that I saw from last week? In case you missed them there are some choice ones posted over at The Wolfs Mouth: http://www.thewolfsmouth.com/2016/09/09/photos-trophy-cup-2016-race-1/ and some great words and photos at Yung Pine: http://www.yungpinephotography.com/new-blog/2016/9/7/pdx-trophy-cup-round-i

We have some great sponsors on board again this year and that includes Stages. Not only are they providing that sweet, sweet holeshot money but theyre also at all of the races with demo models. Ever interested in how badly you fade after lap three? You can now know. Better yet, see how many watts youre throwing down off the line. Stop by their tent before your race and theyll get you set up.

Now I know not all of you are running carbon wheels yet but you have no excuse at the Trophy Cup races this season. Knight Composites is at the races each week with a full selection of wheels for you to try out. Disc brakes? Check. Rim brakes? Check. Through-axles? Totally. Treat yourself and give them a shot.

There were some reports of folks driving a little quickly coming into the track last week. Im not sure if they were one of us but remember, the racing happens out on the course, not in the parking lot.

Results and standings can always be found here: http://www.portlandtrophycup.com/results/

Clinics happen every week before the start of the races. If you want to get some expert instruction at the hands of a professional, stop by the PBS tent at 5:30.

Registration for todays race will be open until 3pm and will be $18. The price goes up to $22 if you register at the race. Were happy either way, just make sure that you burn enough calories to enjoy that slice of Tastebud pizza after your race.
