Thule has recalled their "Sprint" bike carrier which is a fork mount rack. There wasn't an official announcement or notice provided so you just have to find out about it (hopefully not the hard way). The fork clamp mechanism has been failing which could lead to damage to your fork or may allow your bike to fly off your car while traveling down the road.
They have been good to work with on the recall and have a few options for replacement. Here's a link to the recall notice on the site.
