What an excellent opener, eh?! Hats off to everyone involved in reinvigorating the Cross Crusade. I think we're off to a flying start. To all the officials, volunteers, and especially the few, the proud, the Cross Crusade Crew, THANK YOU!

I managed to shoot a little bit on Saturday before getting my butt kicked in the SS Men's race. I'll be out at Cascade Locks with a more organized plan of attack (for filming, obviously not the actual racing), though it looked like there was another guy with a video camera and tripod walkin' round, getting the shots, making people famous. Looking forward to seeing that footage! Music is by the Chemical Brothers, and its their "Theme for Velodrome" which was the official song used during the 2012 London Olympics for track cycling events. Thanks to Dennis Stafford for providing me a little footage from Sunday's mudfest also.
