We hope everyone has had a chance to dry out and clean up after the mud and rain from Alpenrose last weekend. If you missed the epic conditions, you will have another chance this weekend. The City of Cascade Locks is proud to host the River City Bicycles Cyclocross Crusade this weekend. They have done a lot of work to make this happen and we are excited about all this venue has to offer, including run ups, sand, flat sections, and some nice wooded trails. It will be great racing for all levels.

Here are some notes for the weekend:

· Pre-ride and team tent setup is at 5:00 PM on Friday. Please DO NOT show up hours earlier. The crew needs time to set the course.

· Please be prepared for the weather! The wind & rain is going to be a big factor, so please stake and weight down everything! We are not responsible for broken tents or items.

· Camping is allowed on site! Please pick up your trash and haul out everything you haul in. There is no running water (besides the river) on the venue so please plan accordingly. Parking is tight, so if you are camping, please don’t spread out too much.

· Parking: Do not park on any private property. This means no parking at the lumber mill. YOU WILL BE TOWED. Also, do not park along the gravel road. Extra parking is located at the trailhead on the very north side.

· Our food vendor selection will include a local bbq vendor along with Tastebud Pizza and 3 Guys Grilling (Saturday only).

· Alcohol IS allowed on site but please respect neighbors and the property. Please be smart and responsible. Do not drink and drive.

· Saturday will be the first of our Crusade XC presented by Adidas runs. The event will start at 4:30 after the last of the CX races. Competitors will run 2 laps of the cyclocross course. Prizes will go 3 deep for men and women and CX callup points will be awarded 10 deep.

· On Saturday evening Thunder Island Brewing will be throwing a party for all Crusaders starting at 5:00 PM. Please come enjoy some brews, get great food and warm up by the fire.

· Please be aware that the northern trails by the river on the cliff have poison oak. Please stay away from that area.
