Steel CX/commuter/road disc, 54cm TT - Traitor Ruben - $500

Now sports 39/46 up front!

Update - this is actually a 53cm effective top tube length, according to my tape measure.. so a hair smaller than originally advertised

FYI

Howdy folks

Have a nice bike for sale - Traitor Ruben size 54, classy gray black and white.

I bought the frameset used and built it up with some old 6500 Ultegra shifters and rear derailleur I had, 600 tri-color cranks, and added a new CX70 top-pull front derailleur, since the frame is routed thusly. TRP Spyre disc brakes and 160mm rotors front and back mean this puppy bites predictably and exactly the same wet or dry. White Kinlin XR240 24mm aero-shaped rims laced 3x to SRAM X9 hubs with double butted Wheelsmith spokes - bombproof CX wheels and freaken gorgeous next to white cable housing and white bar tape. Yea, that's right... white on my CX racer. I did it. You heckled me for it, and I just laughed (and washed and washed and washed)

I originally had her set up as 2x but went 1x after some dropped chains, with All City 42t narrow-wide and matching Bash Guard, which is how it's set up now... but I did leave the CX70 on there in case I wanted to go back to 2x front shifting. AND... for a limited time, I'm offering it in 2x configuration - I need to double check the big ring size, but the small ring is 39, and I think the big ring is 46t. (Crankset is 130BCD)

115mm bottom bracket means you can go back and forth without twisting the shit out of the chain.

Traitor frame has full fender bosses, and if you want I can include some sweet slick looking lightweight Portland Design Works fenders, for your winter rain training and/or commuting needs.

I did race 'er for most of the season, so she's got some chips and scratches, and the shifters are not fresh looking. But all the same, bike is freaken beautiful and rides awesome.... email me for pics.

$500 takes 'er. I'm in Saint Helens, and am happy to meet in Scappoose or Sauvie's Island.... IF we can conveniently get schedules to line up, I could possibly deliver in Portland, but only if you're super serious.
