All,
I cannot speak for Kris or the others and do not like to incite a riot, but
it just seems like ALL of those involved could have worked out something
that would have kept the integrity of Kris's race, the SS champs and allowed
Kruger to make the money he wants from the event. If this last minute
"deal" was done.........it seems (unless maybe even pride was one of
roadblocks involved....I don't know).....It could have been the event we
were used to supporting plus the SS champs.
I don't need to live with anything other than the fact I might have po'd
some folks with my post. In the end it was based on my wanting people to
treat each other with respect and honesty in their dealings.
Hope it does work out for everyone in the end. The people who want to race
get to do so etc.
ron

Perhaps it's less of a "knife in the back" and more or a "hey, since the
county won't issue an additional permit, why don't we just throw in some
more categories on the course for the permit we DID get, and give everyone a
chance for that 'one last race' they all wanted?"
But I have no inside info. Did Kris have any involvement in this, and does
he feel like he's got a knife in his back?
