I am working to get Mary's Peak back on the calendar in 2017, however right now we are looking at doing it as a mass start (with option to TT off the front;)

I won't be able to provide any more details until the race is on the calendar, but am just letting you know someone (me) is working on it, and hopefully other RDs are still putting stuff together to fill up the calendar.

I think the original JF TT course was Sauvie Island until we got kicked off by a few residents; then West Union/Dairy Creek until we had tacks on road and a few a##hole drivers. Estacada can be iffy weather in Feb. How about something near Keizer?

Hey Eric, over the years we’ve had a number of good but shorter TT courses in the valley. MAC has been using a TT course on Sauvie Island that doesn’t use the “round the island” course and stages at the school. Another one… Dave Auker put on a TT in the Buena Vista area years ago. Neither one uses State Hwys.

Unfortunately this was a venue issue. Between half of the road collapsing
into the river and part of the road being sold to a private party, the
promoter could not run the event.

If folks can help find venues that would be super helpful for promoters.
You may know of some quiet road with nice neighbors that none of us have
head of.

Any help we can get would be appreciated.

Any word on why it was cancelled?  That would help as it might help address the issue going forward either with this race in the future or other races that might be planned.
We can't learn from our mistakes if we don't know what they are.
