The Ridge Update

Erik Anderson

2017-02-27

Hey Everyone,

Mother Nature had other plans last weekend and delayed the 2017 season
kickoff at the Ridge. We will kick off the season this weekend at the
Ridge. We are also making up last weekend’s race on Sunday March 12th.
Both weekends will also offer the Seattle USA Cycling Beginner Race
Program.

Why kickoff the season at the Ridge? The Ridge Motorsports Park is a new
venue that features a 2.5 course, 13 corners, and 200+ feet of elevation
change. The park is booked 150+ days a year with minimal availability
during the cycling season. Grab your friends, WSBA number, Team Tent, TT
Bikes, and Race Bike for a full day of action. You don’t want to miss out
on the opportunity to race at this excellent venue.

*Make-up Date *

· If you signed up online to race at The Ridge Sunday February 26th
your registration automatically transferred to the make-up date on Sunday
March 12th. If you are unable to make the race on March 12th I can
transfer your registration to Sunday March 5th. Please contact me directly
for information to complete this process.

· Anyone can sign up for the race Sunday March 12th, either online or
day of.

Thank you, USA Cycling, The Ridge Motorsports Park, WSBA, Race Officials,
and GC Results for making these changes so quickly.

*OBRA members*
The WSBA, OBRA and USA Cycling are working together to get you racing
because the roads have been brutalized. OBRA riders will be able to race
the The Ridge on a one day USAC $10 fee vs the $25 fee for non-beginners in
your respective category. Sign up online, purchase the one day license and
email me your info and OBRA category so I can update your entry.

*Seattle USA Cycling Beginning Race Program*
We are also hosting the Seattle USA Cycling Beginning Racer Program (SBRP)
put on by Cycle University.

See you on Sunday.

Thanks,
