*Hello Mountain Bikers!*

I am happy to announce the updated 2017 race courses, distances and wave
start times for the XC Race on May 13!

We also have a Short Track Race today (Wednesday), and on Saturday you're
welcome to go pre-ride the course. I will be marking the course on Friday,
check our site for more updates on Friday evening.

- *Short Track Race #2*, Wednesday MAY 3 REGISTER ONLINE
- until 11AM or on-site after 5PM
- *XC Course Preview* on Saturday MAY 6 INFO

- *XC Race on Saturday* MAY 13 REGISTER ONLINE

- $1,000 Cash split to top 5 men and top 5 women overall on long
course
- Food for purchase from East Meets West Fusion
food cart
- Free beer from Deschutes for
racers over 21+
- Podium for photos and 1st place for each category picks a prize
from the table
- Awesome Raffle prizes from Webcyclery ,
too! No need to enter, we do random draw from start list.
- Chainbreaker Series Special Raffle Prizes for those who do all 3
events

*Course Update*

- Lots of blowdown on a half mile section of the Bull Springs trail that
should be clear by pre-ride on Saturday, but it will certainly be cleared
for the race.
- The stadium area will not be fully set up until the day before the
race, but there will be basic signs directing you where to go on pre-rides.
- Other than a few other blowdowns that we'll have taken out, the course
is riding well and remember we water the road for the start to minimize
dust :)
