Results are up for the August Series on our site:

Any questions, please let me know.

If you placed in the top 3, please shoot me an email so I can get you your
hard earned prizes. If you know someone that placed in the top 3, buy them
a beer. We had some tight battles and hard racing this month.

Thanks all for making Tuesday Night PIR a success this year. On many
levels, this has been one of the best seasons I have been a part of. The
general atmosphere and attitude to of the riders has been super positive
and numbers are up from previous years.

Thanks for being a positive part of our community!

We have result for the first two weeks up on our site:
http://tuesdaynightpir.com/home/2017/5/11/mayresultsv1

A quick clarification on series results for both the individual and team
competitions.

For the individual competition, we award the following points to the
nightly winner:

1st. 25
2nd. 18
3rd. 15
4th. 12
5th. 10
6th. 8
7th. 6
8th. 4
9th. 2
10th. 1

We award those points regardless of how many points riders score on the
night. On that subject, we count hot lap points and finishing points
towards your overall total. Hot lap points go three deep and are awarded:

1st. 6
2nd. 4
3rd. 2

For the team competition, which we offer to the 1/2/3 field only, we award
the following points to the top 10 teams:

1st. 25
2nd. 18
3rd. 15
4th. 12
5th. 10
6th. 8
7th. 6
8th. 4
9th. 2
10th. 1

We only count the top two placing from each team. So, if one team has 4
riders in the top 10, only the 2 best placed riders get points for the
team. This helps even things out in the event one team has 10 riders and
another team only has 2. It also ensure that on the first night of the
series one team does not run away with a massive lead.

Also, we only award points to teams current on their annual OBRA dues.
Meaning, if your team name is not showing up on results, there is a good
chance your team has not paid annual OBRA team dues, which means you are
excluded from the team competition. If your team payment is up to date, but
the name is not showing up, first check your OBRA online account to ensure
your correct team name is entered. If that all looks correct, please let me
know. There could be something I need to update on the database I use for
reg.

Thanks all! Hoping for a return of that glorious sun we had last week!
Fingers crossed.
