Just wanted to note that we are watching the weather carefully and wanted to provide some additional information.

We will have a truck or van at the start which can transport a drop bag to the summit finish. Please mark your bag accordingly, we are not providing drop bags, we are just proving transport for them. We will also have some limited shuttle capacity to drive people down from the summit, however we will not have the capacity to shuttle everyone down. If you are planning to do this race you should plan to ride down, the shuttle is to accommodate those in greatest need. You may arrange your own ride down, however parking at the summit is limited and we have no control over availability (parking area is open to public access during event). A NW Forest Pass is needed for summit parking or else you need to pay a daily use fee ($5).

We will also be getting the portable propane heater from OBRA equipment and will have it available if needed at the summit. There will also be several pop-up tents at the finish area to provide some cover as well in the event we get a rain shower. We want this to be a safe (and fun) event and wanted you to be aware of what kind of support you can expect at this race.

Just a reminder that the ultimate showdown for KOM bragging rights is happening in 7 days on June 10, 2017. There are two chances at royalty because we are bringing a Decker Road KOM prime to the table for the Men 1/2/3 and Womens fields.

A few things to note:

1. Pre-registration will close on Thursday June 8 at 8pm. Day of race registration (if available) will be $40. Please do not wait to register, the weather is looking ideal for a hillclimb.
2. $250 (5 deep) for men 1/2/3 and womens fields ($500 total). Block 15 Specialty Beer Gift package for Decker Road KOM for each of these fields.
3. $100 (4 deep) for men Cat 4/5 only. This is based on early registration numbers. Thanks guys.
4. Block 15 Beer/Gift packages for all category winners, plus custom Marys Peak Pint Glasses (check out on FB) for all category podium finishers.
5. We are still in need of 6-10 volunteers, please help this event be successful by volunteering or referring a friend.
6. All proceeds from this event will go the Linn-Benton Community Food Share and The Corvallis Bicycle Collective. Your support as a racer or volunteer is to help these great organizations.
7. We expect HotFoot Photo to be covering this event to get great action shots and podium pics for all of you.
8. Finish line refreshments and aid courtesy of Williamette Valley Intellectual Property Law (WVIPL.com).
