PIR 3/4s: Don't grab your brakes in a race!

Hey all,

Not sure who it was, or I'd bring it up with them individually, but someone
in the 3/4 field last night at PIR grabbed their brakes hard a couple of
times last night while in the middle of the pack on the straight.

DO NOT EVER DO THAT!

Everyone behind you got lucky last night. Twice.

If you need to scrub speed, first sit up and catch air, and then, if you
absolutely have to, just feather your brakes slightly to gradually ease off
your speed. When you grab them hard, you slow down faster than the people
behind you can react, and you are highly likely to cause a pile-up.

Also, don't overlap wheels, since that's what often leads to the "Oh crap,
I need to brake!" moments in the first place.

Your fellow racers and their as yet unbroken bikes and bones thank you for
your attention to this matter. :-D
